Irene Petraki is a postgraduate student at the Department of Materials Science and Technology of the University of Crete. She received her Bachelor in Materials Science and Technology from University of Crete in 2018. She did her diploma thesis with theme The fabrication of PLGA replicas and the effect of their topography in PC12 cells in Foundation for Research and Technology - hellas (FORTH) and Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) in 2016 - 2018. She began her master's thesis with theme The fabrication and characterization of polymer scaffolds by molding for biomedical applications in Foundation for Research and Technology - hellas (FORTH) and Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) in 2019.
