The Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the Foundation for research and Technology Hellas (IESL -FORTH), invites applications for one PhD student position within the framework of the research project StatinCensor, funded under the Theodore Papazoglou FORTH Synergy Grants. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team working on the cutting edge of biofabrication and tissue engineering. The recruited PhD candidate will focus on the initro evaluation of 3D-printed scaffolds developed using advanced bioprinting and multiphoton lithography techniques. This work will involve characterizing scaffold-cell interactions, assessing cell viability and proliferation, and applying advanced microscopy and immunostaining protocols to evaluate biological performance in vitro.
Interested candidates who meet the aforementioned requirements are kindly asked to submit their applications to the address (hr@iesl.forth.gr [3]), with cc to the Scientific Responsible, Dr A. Ranella (ranthi@iesl.forth.gr [4]).
